It is chilling under lemon trees in garden-patios behind medieval walls, in hidden courtyards and small squares. It is theatre and dance, rock, pop and classical concerts in the archeological sites of Syracuse, Segesta and Taormina and in grandiose theatres in Catania and Palermo. It is jazz, blues and wine festivals in the cobbled streets of picturesque towns and villages, it is soft piano music on your hotel terrace and in bars. An evening in Taormina's ancient theatre, sitting under a star-spangled sky, with the stunning panorama of the sea and a fire spitting Mount Etna in the distance, will be unforgettable. Nightlife is also the hundreds of traditional fun fairs and kermises, called Sagra, with dancing, folklore, fireworks and tons to eat.
