The Museum of Rural Life in located in Vittoria, and housed in the Park of Serra San Bartolo, an old peasant structure. The eco-museum is dedicated to the life in the countryside, the cultivation of wheat, olives and carrobs -  the peasant culture in the region of Ragusa. 

In the courtyard visitors can see the main and most important feature of the 'Baglio', a water tank, made of carved stone. There are all the characteristic  tools and utensils peasants needed for their work in the fields and groves, the cultivation and the harvest of the plants. It is a journey through the land and the peasants' life.

A visit to the museum can easily be combined with a wine tasting, Vittoria is home to the excellent red wine Cerasuolo di Vittoria.
