Directions to A Rua Fera
A Rua Fera is one of the most popular and typical restaurants of Castelbuono. Here time seems to have stopped at the time of the Ventimiglia family who once ruled the town. Old premises, ancient traditions, recipes and flavours, culinary culture...Think pizza with genuine and fresh toppings, rigorously cooked in a wood oven, and delicious local dishes of the Madonie Mountains.
The restaurant boasts a tranquil, cool and fresh terrace, but the inside is so quaint that you may prefer do dine there, even in summer. Go for the starter, the Madonie antipasto with mushrooms, omelette, veggies, sun dried tomatoes and cold cuts, followed by an exquisite pizza or a mixed meat grill. A small flaw is the limited beer list.
