Description
Furrowed by the waves of Porto Piccolo, the tour of the island begins by exploring the many caves, tinged with green and blue by the glare of the sea. Sailing back to the island of Ortigia, you can admire the monumental bulk of the Maniace Castle and the endless sequence of churches and elegant palaces that imposingly overlook the sea. A swim stop is planned in Porto Piccolo followed by a tasty aperitif of local cold cuts and cheeses accompanied by a good prosecco. Diving into the clear waters where the river god Alphaeus chased his beloved nymph Arethusa, you can admire the seabed populated with colorful marine species swimming among the buried remains of the famous Athenian defeat.
