Casa Museo Liberty

Sicily

Custom-designed furniture by Ernesto Basile and Carlo Zen, precious objects made by René Lalique, Legras and Calderoni, pieces in silver, ivory, crystal and mahogany, precious porcelain and ceramics - the Casa Museo Liberty in Chiaramonte Gulfi is a must-see for all Art Nouveau aficionados.

The living room windoe boasts pieces in silver and ivory, with a refined Legras vase and two precious crystal goblets of Rene Lalique.

In the dining room are two buffets inspired by the 'Nancy School'. In the boudoir stands a wonderful porcelain bibelot on a marble vanity. Them there are the elegant master bedroom, the room for the nurse and a Singer sewing machine from the early 20th century.

In the room where private visitors were received there are a console, a dressing table in mahogany with stained glass and a valet stand with three shelves in inlaid wood.
