Giardini-Naxos is a bustling little coastal town, featuring one of the most beautiful bays of the island. Think white sand, lidos and a wonderful view of Taormina, Castelmola and the sea. On clear days you can even see the Reggio Calabria on the Italian mainland. Just over the street, the 'Lungomare' are shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.

For beach hikers we recommend the other beach of Giardini-Naxos, which is located in Recanati, the hotel area of Giardini-Naxos. This beach is popular because of its fine sand. The beach extends for several kilometres and invites for long walks. Part of the beach is rocky with small pebbly bays.
