This full-day excursion will bring you on a wonderful adventure along the most scenic route through the lush countryside up to Mount Etna. A minibus of just nineteen people will take you to 1950 meters (7000 feet), where you’ll see the crater G. Silvestri and the most recent lava flows. When the lush landscape gives way to the lava and the ride becomes too bumpy for the minibus, you will change over to the off-road vehicles and start the journey up to 2900 meters (9514 feet). In the footsteps of an expert alpine guide, a 30 minute trek will get you as high as you can get. After some free time enjoying the breathtaking panorama from the highest peak in Sicily, the off-road vehicles will start your journey back.
