Palazzo Mirto

When you visit Palazzo Mirto you enter a noble residence of an important family, and you have the chance to admire its architecture and furniture, commissioned to clever local craftsmen, as well as objects collected with great love, which prove the owners' good taste and attention for different art forms.
At the moment you can only visit the first floor and the route takes you through sumptuous rooms with walls adorned by silky panels, tapestries, curtains, murals and paintings. In these halls you can see furniture, paintings, sculpures and important collections of almost any kind of applied art: china, majolica, Sicilian pottery, watches, fans, glasses, weapons, cribs and small bronze objects.
