Museo di Cimelo Storico Militari

Sicily

The military museum shows the collection of Emanuele Gulino, a collector of national fame. The relics preserved moments of the soldiers in the trenches of Carso or on the battlefields of Africa, Greece, and Russia.

The exhibition is dominated by military headgear - helmets (some with holes for entry and exit, others with headset radio) of various generations and states and an extended collection of military uniforms.

Weapons are abundantly represented. At the entrance of the museum stands a cannon Breda 76/40, the emblem of traditional warfare. Then there are gas masks, sabers, mines, hand grenades, the skeleton of a machine gun, a projectile of 1908, a machine gun carrier, a bomb like torpedoes, large cannon projectiles, a triple tear stick, various elements of the aircraft bodies and a tank of '43 for the flight range of an aircraft.
