The toys and wax museum 'Museo del Giocattolo e delle Cere di Pietro Piraino' is housed in the 'Aragona Cuto', an impressive palace dating back to the 18th century!
The museum boasts an extensive collection of over 600 toys and wax art works. This is the only museum of its kind and size in Southern Italy.
There are 5 amazing halls full of exciting memorabilia, dating back to 1700, including hundreds of dolls, unique and rather interesting robots, cars, trains and horses. Also on display is one of the largest collection of wax work and wooden statues. The museum has a speciliazed workshop for the restoration of cribs, precious wax statues, paper-mache and other art work and statues made of different materials.
