Turrisi Bar

Turrisi Bar located on the Piazza Duomo in the beautiful small town of Castelmola, which is perched like an eagle's nest high above Taormina. It is a place worth coming and finding, even if it is only because of its rather particular selection of penises peaking out from everywhere in different shapes, lengths and materials including wood, terracotta, iron, or even pasta and marzipan.

Turrisi Bar, spread over 3 floors, was born around 1947 and since then has been passing from one generation to another.The idea of the penis was not meant to be vulgar, but to be a symbol of freedom, fertility and life, and its beauty strongly influenced by the Greek culture.

The bar offers beside the unique atmosphere typical Sicilian dishes which can be served on the scenic terrace boasting stunning views.
