Trattoria Garibaldi opened in 1963 and has been a firm favourite with local foodies ever since, which is always a good sign.
The staff is very friendly and will try their best for you.
Inside, 4 multicoloured dining rooms separated by huge stone arches create a pleasant atmosphere whether you are sitting down for lunch or cande-lit romantic meal.
Wherever possible, food here is made with top notch local produce and you can sail away on a culinary cruise through North African flavours and spices. Seafood takes the centre of the stage, try the seafood salad followed by Cous Cous di Pesce alla Siciliana.( Fish cous cous Sicilian style) Feast on grilled red mullet, scallops in Marsala, grilled steaks or prawn skewers.
Wash it all down with the Merlot house wine and then venture out to enjoy Marsala after dark.
It's wise to book your table in advance. Overall excellent value for money.
