The Trattoria dei Templi, recommended by the Michelin guide and Gambero Rosso, lies at the foot of the hill between Agrigento and the ancient Valley of the Temples.
It is a lovely and charming restaurant and the decor is very traditional with walls decorated in soft peach tones, brick work and ceiling vaults.
The dishes are created according to the catch of the day including snapper, sea bass, sea bream, turbot or red mullet and often cooked only with herbs, white wine, capers, olives and drizzle of lemon juice to ensure the flavours are strong and balanced.
The wine cellar is very well stocked with the best Sicilian wines .
