Rosso di Sera
Sicily
We discovered Rosso di Sera by chance, a culinary gem in the Sferracavallo-land of touristy seafood restaurants, or better we decided to have dinner there after passing by myriads of cheesy places where waiters invite you to enter, promising memorable fresh seafood dinners. The Rosso di Sera staff instead concentrates on a good service and does not annoy potential customers, people enter at own will and that's the reason why we chose this small and cozy place. It is decorated in North African style, with soft lighting and colourful Tunisian tableware.
A must-try are the fish cous cous (d.i.v.i.n.e) and the Sauté Imperiale, a plentiful dish consisting of swordfish, clams and mussels (y.u.m.m.y). All to be washed down with a fine wine of the well-stocked cellar.
