The owners - Domenico Colonnetta in the restaurant and the chef Francesco Patti in the kitchen - propose traditional dishes and flavours intrepreted in a modern way, always respecting the seasonality of products. The dishes evoke the local cuisine, their composition shows a great sense of taste, style and colours.
Start with a caponata on citrus pie or a classic parmiggiana, or beets with ricotta mousse. The fish dishes are just delicious, try the amberjack fillet with mint and fennel and an orange salad, or the red mullet with black olives and bread crumbs, or the 'beccafico' with almonds, crunchy fennel and lettuce sauce...their pasta dishes also come highly recommende such as 'paccheri' with eggplant-cream, tomatoes, oil, basil and salted ricotta cheese. And for dessert you got to try the cannoli with ricotta, warm figs and nougat ice-cream or the hot pudding with almonds, cinnamon, ice cream and Marsala sauce. The wine list is rich with regional and national labels.
