Pizzeria Luna Rossa, one of the oldest pizzeria around Catania, is nestled in the beautiful and ancient fishing village of Acitrezza.

In summer and when the weather is warm take the outside table and settle with bottles of white or red wine while taking the views of the harbour and watching the boats being hauled.

In winter retreat indoors for a cozy dinner. Start with the prosciutto ham and melon, caprese with buffalo mozzarella or scrumptious bruschetta. And then it comes to the hard decision of which pizza to choose as there are around 34 different classic and special pizzas all with great rich toppings and generous portion of mozzarella. Our favourite was Pizza Ai funghi with porcini mushrooms, mozzarela and tomatoes, or Pizza Luna Rossa with mozzarella, octopus, prawns, squid and tomatoes drizzled with extra olive oil and sprinkled with oregano. Fantastico! Don't forget to try the sweet pizza made with Nutella , hazelnuts and sprinkled with icing sugar. Your kids will love it!

All pizzas are made with high quality and authentic ingredients according with traditional recipes.
