Noto, Modica and Ragusa: The Baroque Tour from Catania
116 ReviewsDiscover the heart of Sicily of the late Baroque period. Rebuilt after the devastating earthquake of 1693 it is part of UNESCO's World Heritage.
Ristorante La Vela is a welcoming place which is often packed by well heeled locals and regulars, celebrating their birthdays, anniversaries or a family get together. The traditional Sicilian cuisine is cooked to perfection and presented beautifully with the focus on fish and seafood dishes.
There is a set menu, but also à la carte dishes. Just to give you an idea what to expect: the latest set menu is around 30,00 euros and includes a gorgeous selection of seafood starters followed by pasta and pistachio shrimps, then grilled fish and salad.
At La Vela also the pizza is delicious! Water and coffee are included and we can guarantee that you will leave satisfied and well fed.
La Vela boasts a terrace and outdoor seating for a spot of dining in summer.
