The Bistrot Restaurant has three welcoming dining rooms, but its best feature is the roof terrace, with a view of the old castle of Castelbuono. Much attention is devoted to the local cuisine of the Madonie Mountains and the traditional Italian cuisine, with a preference to the use of local produces. We had some delicous fresh tagliatelle with asparagus and artichokes, followed by roast pork and the - in Castelbuono - inevitable dessert 'Testa di Turcho', the head of the Turk, which is prepared according to an ancient recipe.
Healthy and wholesome cooking, tasty food, pleasant background music, the lovely terrace and an excellent staff - try it. Have a nice time in Castelbuono!
