Magmatrek rises in 2002 from a group of Volcanological Guides who live and operate in Stromboli and Ginostra and share a mutual passion for the island and its volcano.
Their main objective is to promote the archipelago of the Aeolian Islands and Sicily's natural and cultural heritage.
The excursions offered provide the perfect opportunity for a deeper understanding of the natural earth sciences, and anthropological and historical aspects of the islands.
Years of experience in this field enable them to offer a range of information regarding the flora, fauna and geological formations of the island. Practical experience and formal training allows thems to offer excursions in secure conditions.
Magmatrek organizes excursions for individuals and groups. Children from 7 years on are welcome if motivated, in good physical conditions and used to climb.
They have few options for you, but we would recommend the afternoon trek up to the summit.
