The sea in this small bay in Giardini-Naxos is usually clean (depends on the current), the food is good, the staff is superfriendly and welcoming. Lido Aurora Celeste doesn't have animation or plays loud music, it features a small bar, a little restaurant, soft music and clean changing cabins, showers and toilets.
They serve cold drinks, ice cream, snacks (the fruit plate comes recommended as a light lunch on hot days) and coffee, you don't even have to fetch it, just go on lazing on your sun bed, the nice staff will serve it under your umbrella.
In high season the restaurant is also open in the evening. You can taste seafood and pasta sitting at candle-lit tables under the star-spangled sky, listen to the sound of the waves and relax.
Aurora Celeste is a simple but very pleasant place, only accessible on foot.
