Directions to Isola Bella
The tiny island of Isola Bella at the seaside of Taormina is one of the best beaches around the town thanks to its wild and unspoilt nature. The beach itself is pebbly, but the picturesque scenery and the view make up for it!
The islet is a nature reserve protected by the WWF, where the colours of the water range from turquoise to deep blue. It is a perfect place for diving and snorkelling with a colourful and busy sea life.
There are few lovely beaches around this enchanting island which can be recognized by small rocky stones scattered around the crystal clear sea.
To reach Isola Bella from Taormina town take the cable car to Mazzarò, turn right to the National Road and after cca 200 metres you will see the entrance, so follow the signs to 'Isola Bella' which will take you down the stairs right on the beach of Isola Bella.
