We went to Trattoria Catania Ruffiana on recommendation of a friend who lives in Catania. The small restaurant is few steps away from the centre, a bit hidden, boasting a homely and cozy atmosphere, the service is attentive and polite. Here you are not an order more, but a person. The owners are so kind and love to pamper their customers.
The dishes served are traditional but at the same time unique, the right balance between innovation and tradition. Really great food, an amazing 'marriage' of vegetables, fruit and fish. Try the mixed starters and the marinated shrimps with pomegranate and pineapple - heavenly!
