WOW! Amazing dinner, fantastic wine, great presentation of the food and a superfriendly staff! Try the tuna tartar or, if you're not so fond of fish, the Tournedos Rossini. Definitely a place to spend an evening out in Syracuse (or two...ot three...)

Porta Marina da Salvo is one of the best seafood restaurants in south-eastern Sicily.

Based on traditional Sicilian recipes 'Chef Salvo' creates amazing dishes. We had some great dinners here, savoury and flavoury, accompanied by fantastic wines. We only say one word: WOW! Try the lobster, the tuna tartar or simply spaghetti alle vongole and you'll sure agree with us.

Porta Marina da Salvo is located in a historical building of the early 15th century. You'll dine under century old arches creating a special and homely atmosphere. The restaurant is always well attended by the locals, and even if it is fully occupied the service is very friendly and efficent.

Here everything is just right: ambience, service, food and wines - we'll sure be back.
