Ristorante Edelweiss in Erice is tucked away and lying peacefully off the Piazza San Domenico with views of the town hall and the museum of Erice.
It is a family run and very friendly hotel with restaurant, bar and pasticerria where you can sample typical traditional dishes and produce of its lovely patisserie such as cannoli - light pastry filled with ricotta cream or traditional Sicilian cassata cake. The cooking is unfussy, straightforward and delivers bang on flavours.
Catering service for receptions, weddings or any special occassion is also available.
The outside terrace is great for some people watching and soaking up the lively atmosphere of ancient Erice.
