As you can imagine, summers are really hot in Sicily. So, on town strolls everybody would fancy something light and refreshing for lunch.
Last time in Noto we were strolling along the most beautiful Baroque street and nobody was opting for a full lunch in a restaurant - far too hot! We passed by the 'Picnic' per accident, decided to give it a try and were really excited. At the Picnic everything is made with all fresh seasonal local and exotic fruits you can think of: smoothies, salads, ice cream, crepes, wraps, drinks and even Sangria. The owners are super (child) friendly and made us immediately feel at ease. The granita was superb, the salads simply delicious and the ice cream with fruit just divine.
The Picnic comes highly recommended, especially in summer!
