Some 80 years ago the confectioner-chef Gaetano Spinella founded his pastry shop and bar in Catania's historic center and it was an immediate success.

Pasticceria Spinella is recognized over the years by generations of Catanese, as well as thousands of tourists who, after enjoying the delights of Spinella, brought home the sweetest memories of Sicily and the city of Catania.
