While exploring the surroundings of Palermo, in the evening we felt an urgent need to eat some fresh fish. Being attracted by the location on the seafront of the village of Sferracavallo we stopped to read the menu of La Perla del Mare. The owner greeted us very friendly, curious about these obviously not Italian visitors in this part of the island, and started to explain the dishes. So we gave his nice restaurant a try. What a view and what good food! Peppered mussels, linguine with prawns, spaghetti with sea urchins, a tasty mixed fry of seafood, grilled fish... you could taste that everything was freshly caught. The staff was friendly and helpful and the excellent position of the table with a view of the sea has created a magical atmosphere.
