La Foresteria Planeta

At the Planeta winery, immersed in the countryside near Menfi, region of Trapani, guests have dinner all together at a biig table as if they were a great group of friends. Dinner take also place on the terrace, among the vineyards, with the sea in the background.

The staff and the chef are always willing to explain dishes and recipes of hte traditional cuisine. 

Try the pasta with sardines, wild fennel, pine nuts and toasted breadcrumbs, an arancino of raw mackerel ot the lasagna with red shrimps Here even simple things like the fennel salad are great.  Don't miss the fillet of beef, marinated in Nero D'avola wine - just delicious. The wines are of course those of the company Planeta.

Very interesting are also the cooking classes where every guest feels like the protagonist putting his (or her) hands in the dough.
