Il Tortellino

Sicily

Cafés, Gelaterias, Pastry Shops & Street Food Regional & Local Sicilian Cuisine

Il Tortellino was founded as a manufacturer of tortellini and homemade pasta, and then has been transformed in a 'laboratory of taste' that ranges from homemade pasta and ready meals of each type to really delicious desserts. We stopped for a quick bite or to buy some take-away food but when we saw all the yummy things cooked at the moment, arancini, cannoli, all the range of Sicilian street food, dishes with freshly made pasta, we had to sit down. And wanted to try them all. Meat, fish, delicatessen. We opted for cous cous, fried eggplants and cannoli, all of it sensational.

The only downside are the (a bit uncomfortable) high bar chairs and the mini tables. But who cares - the food is great and prices are low.

Highly recommended when in Trapani!
