Il Locandiere

Ristorante Il Locandiere is nestled in the historical centre of Caltagirone. It is a cosy and elegant restaurant tucked in a side street close to the famous stairway. The restaurant is nicely decorated and successfully restored in a historical building with archways.

The menu is as delightful as the restaurant. Think super fresh seafood (try out the mussels or spaghetti with sea urchins), fresh catch of the day with seasonal vegetables (go for fish cous-cous) and fruit and desserts (cannoli to die for) - all made using the best ingredients possible, lightly prepared and beautifully presented.

An extensive wine list compliments the menu and the staff is very welcoming, can describe each dish into a small detail and offers a good wine (not the most expensive one) to go well with your chosen dish. Prices are moderate and definitively good value for money.
