Da Lorenzo
Sicily
With a location off busy Corso Umberto and next to the Town Hall you are assuming correctly that Lorenzo is never empty. Not only tourists like to dine in here, it was actually the locals that recommended Lorenzo. And this usually is a good sign.
Lorenzo's peachy and beige exteriors is very bright and airy and compliments well with the wooden furniture and stone walls. The terrace is very inviting, especially during summer and offers some stunning views of Taormina and Mount Etna.
Lorenzo has a great selection of fresh seafood which can be cooked the way you like it, as well as several pasta dishes and fresh fish of the day.
The menu is in several languages, and the staff is very happy to advise on the notable wine list.
Prices are friendly, considering that it is in Taormina and in a very central location.
