The Salinelle beach is located on the state road SS 113, some seven kilometres from Cefalù in the direction Palermo. Just follow the indication to Piana di Lascari. The area of the so-called Salinelle is flat and a great spot for windsurfing. Non surfers will find a very long beach nearby, with clear water, sun loungers, parasols and a bar. The seabed becomes deep after some metres, so be careful, in particular when there is strong wind, it could be dangerous. The Salinelle is a good alternative in peak season (July and August) when the beach in Cefalù is quite crowded.
