It was a dream that lasted almost fifty years, and that became reality in 1995.
In the eighteenth century Palazzo Corpaci, former the Confraternity of the Holy Spirit, which is in via Alagona 41-45, in the heart of Ortigia, Siracusa's historic center.
An area of about 2000 square meters on three levels is entirely dedicated to Enrico Ghezzi what he called 'a magnificent obsession', the film in fact. Permanent exhibition halls allow a journey through all the visual arts from its origins to the present day. More 20,000 finds like projectors, cine-photographic machines, tape recorders, etc.. are on display in 12 halls.
A must-visit for all film and cinema buffs!
