Barone di Villagrande

The winery Barone di  Villagrande is located in a small village on the east side of Mount Etna, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level. The vineyards, dominated by the cellar, cascade into a natural amphitheater overlooking the beautiful coast of Taormina and eastern Sicily. The estate has been owned by the same family since 1727.

For more than 10 years, the company is also engaged on the island of Salina in the production of the famous sweet Malvasia wine of the Aeolian Islands.

Barone di Villagrande invites both wine lovers and wannabes to visit their vineyards and historic wine cellars. Here you can follow guided tastings of wine and grappa, accompanied by typical snacks of the Mount Etna region.
