I Portali

I Portali opened in October 2007 and belongs to the biggest shopping centres in the south of Italy.

It is situated in San Giovanni La Punta in Catania and thanks to its connection with the retail park Le Zagare it covers an area of ​​140,000 square meters and has indoor as well as outdoor parking available to accomodate up to 3000 cars. It is surrounded by extensive green areas which are fully accessible for all shopping centre visitors.

I Portali, characterized by the clear blue dome, has 2 main buildings, one on the west side where you will find home shops and brands as well as the fast food giant McDonald's. The east side is a shopping centre where all your shopping needs and cravings will be satisfied in several clothes shops, sportswear, underwear and swimwear, baby clothes, perfumery gift shops, travel agencies and electronics including famous brands like Fergie, Guess, Sandro Ferrone, Replay and Bata.

Once you get tired of shop scouting, relax in one of the lovely restaurants including steak house, pizzeria and fast food places.

There is a kids space to entertain the younger part of your group and you can also go and see one of the latest movies in the Cinestar cinema or challenge your friends or partner to a game of bowling.
