Re Di Bastoni

Sicily

Some steps from the Re di Bstoni is Taormina's main square Piazza IX. Aprile with its panoramic terrace and a splendid view - so don't forget to bring your camera.

Re di Bastoni in Taormina is open, as most cafes are in Taormina, during the day and at night. Positioned on the busy main street Corso Umberto it's a cosy bar, with a lick of peachy paint, decorated in terracotta and stone in Sicilian style. The furniture is hand made from a solid wood and pictures adorn the walls, some of which are available to buy.

Re Di Bastoni not only offers a wide range of drinks and refreshing cocktails, but they also have a small kitchen which offers fresh snacks including bruschetta and sandwiches followed by salads. The tables outside are perfect for people watching

During the summer especially, but also at other times throughout the year, live music, such as Jazz is played and creates a very relaxed atmosphere.

This really is a lovely little bar and well worth a night out, and not as expensive as others around the area.
