Description
The boat is yours, and so is the sea. Rent a 5.4-metre motorboat from the Ciclope Tour family at the Acitrezza pier, for up to six people, children included. No boat licence is required: the boat is within the limits for which a licence is not needed, the driver only needs to be an adult with an ID document.
At the pier we show you the boat, the controls, where you can go and where you can't: ten minutes, then you are free. We explain the limits of the Isole Ciclopi Marine Protected Area and the distances from the coast to respect, so you don't risk fines. Then you decide: how long to stay in each bay, when to swim, what time to come back. Families who want to spend two hours in the same bay, groups of friends who don't feel like schedules, couples who want to find a rock and stay there.
Half a day, four hours, is enough time for the Faraglioni sea stacks, Lachea Island and a swim in a bay. With the full day you can easily reach Acireale and come back at your leisure. Life jackets are on board and we stay reachable by phone the whole time you are out.
Fuel is not included in the price: on your return we count the fuel used and you pay only for that. For a relaxed half day along the coast it stays a modest amount; at the pier we give you an estimate before you leave.
No experience is needed: the boat is simple and the coast here is sheltered. The rental is subject to sea conditions: we confirm on WhatsApp the day before and, if the sea is not suitable, you can reschedule or receive a full refund.
