Description
Discover the power of Mount Etna with an extraordinary trek among smoking craters, black lava tunnels, breathtaking views and spectacular drone footage that you will remember forever.

The adventure starts in Catania and continues to the Rifugio Sapienza with an ascent by cable car to 2,500 meters. This is where the real trekking begins: you'll cross lava landscapes, breathe in the fresh mountain air and observe the volcano's energy up close. You will explore an evocative lava channel, a tunnel created by ancient lava flows, surrounded by black, shiny walls that tell the story of millennia of geological history.
The hike continues up to an altitude of 3,000 meters, amid smoke, gas and glowing rocks, until you reach Etna's active craters. You will find yourself faced with lunar landscapes and, looking out over the Bove Valley, you will experience powerful emotions: the sun illuminates the expanses of rock and lava in a setting that is unique in the world.
The trekking route takes about 4–5 hours (moderate difficulty) and is perfect for those who love wild nature, adventure and are looking for an immersive experience: each participant receives a personalized drone video of the day.
