Description
Enjoy an authentic experience in the Salinella district with an educational tasting of typical Sicilian wines. The visit begins by showing the grape's journey in the cellar: you can follow all the stages of the transformation, from harvesting to the winemaking process, up to the simulated bottling 'with the machine on'.
The tasting includes at least 14 different types of wine. You'll taste 7 whites, including classic method from catarratto, Inzolia, Catarratto, Grillo, Zibibbo and retro vintages, as well as wines aged in chestnut barrels. Next up is a rosé of pignatello or perricone, three native reds (Nero d'Avola, Pignatello or Perricone, Frappato), reds aged in oak and chestnut barrels, plus a sweet passito di zibibbo.
At the end of the tasting, you can enjoy a selection of typical Sicilian products: cunzatu bread, cheeses with homemade jams, green and black farm olives, free-range eggs, and a classic Sicilian cannolo filled on the spot, to end the experience on a sweet note.
A journey through the authentic knowledge, flavors, and aromas of Sicily, guided by passion and professionalism, for those seeking quality and simplicity of communication.
