Description
The tour is divided into two parts. First, enjoy a relaxing walk around the salt pans discovering the white salt fields, blue sea, gray clay, and pink pools within the WWF reserve. You can see how salt forms in the tanks, collect it by hand, and learn the process of transforming seawater into salt.
The second part includes a guided visit to the salt museum and a 15th-century ancient mill. Located inside an old farmhouse, the museum highlights the history of salt production and the Culcasi family's multi-generational involvement. It is recognized in the official EU guide as a cultural testimony to the connection between salt and the sea.
After the tour, enjoy an aperitif or dinner at the onsite restaurant with panoramic views of the salt pans.
