Description

Depart Taormina by climate-controlled bus to Milazzo on Sicily’s northern coast. From Milazzo harbor, board a spacious boat to the Aeolian Islands, starting with Lipari, the largest and most historically significant island.

Spend free time exploring Lipari's old town, known for its colorful buildings, cathedral, and ancient fortification walls. Wander narrow streets filled with shops and cafes while enjoying views of the sea.

Next, visit Vulcano, which gave its name to all volcanoes. Enjoy free time at the island’s black sand beach and mud baths (mud baths cost extra; information is available on-site). Alternatively, have lunch at a local restaurant.
