Description
Depart from the meeting point in authorized 4x4 vehicles to reach the lateral craters accessible only with an official guide. After a light 50-minute hike suitable for everyone, reach the top of seven volcanoes, including one with an active inner crater.
Observe Mount Etna’s native plants, lava formations, and minerals throughout the tour. After crater exploration, continue by 4x4 on a 2-km off-road drive to the northern side’s last major eruption sites. The experience concludes with a visit inside a volcanic cave, using helmets and lamps provided at no extra cost.
