These donkeys are not only trusted guides along the trails: every day, in the heart of the village, they also take care of door-to-door recycling collection, a valuable task that makes them an integral part of the Castelbuono community. He will be the one to lead you along ancient mountain paths, through climbs surrounded by greenery and views that take your breath away. The rhythm of the donkey will force you to slow down, to breathe, to look around. And that is where the real magic begins. You climb up to an old haystack, hidden in the mountains, where a special stop awaits you: a basket full of authentic flavors, to be enjoyed surrounded by nature, with only the rustling of the trees as a soundtrack. Then you set off again, with a fuller heart and a lighter head. It is more than just a hike: it is a return to the essentials, to nature, to a different way of moving and feeling.
