Description
Enjoy a full-day escape from Catania combining Sicily’s ancient heritage with one of its most iconic coastal landscapes. Your tour leader will pick you up directly from your accommodation in Catania and drive toward Agrigento, sharing stories and context about the places you’re about to experience.
On arrival, you’ll be accompanied to the Valley of the Temples Archaeological Park, where you’ll have around 2 hours to explore at your own pace. Walk among impressive Doric temples, remarkably preserved from the ancient Greek period, and take time to admire highlights such as the Temple of Concordia, the Temple of Juno, and the Temple of Hercules.
Next, continue together to Scala dei Turchi, the famous white cliff on the coast near Realmonte. Shaped by wind and sea, its distinctive stepped form contrasts dramatically with the deep blue water and open sky. Spend time exploring the viewpoint area, then enjoy a relaxing stroll on the nearby sandy beach—perfect for a quiet break and memorable photos.
At the end of the experience, you’ll return to Catania and be dropped off back at your accommodation.
