Description
Traditional Calabrian country cuisine is identified with the Mediterranean Diet, which has become a UNESCO intangible heritage, and, more than other regional cuisines, it enhances the food resources that are characteristic of the local areas.
The experience, accompanied by the description and the story of each dish, is an immersion in the tastes and traditions of country food made with simple and natural products, such as fileja, vegetables from the garden, 'pipi e patate', ricotta and cheese, meat and vegetable balls, and homemade bread dough.
The cooking class, led by experts, is divided into several stages:
- Learning about and harvesting produce in the garden
- Food preparation lesson
- Sunset food tasting with views of the volcano and Capo Vaticano
Depending on the evening, the event is accompanied by folk or classical music, the Tarantella dance, or the singing of serenades.
* The activity takes place from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM every day.
* Bookings are always essential.
