The tour begins from the Balata harbor in Marzamemi, aboard the Gemini.
The Gemini is a boat with a glass keel that allows you to admire the marine scenery from the dry land in all its beauty.
It will first take you to discover colorful and mysterious seabeds; then you will reach the underwater archaeological site of the Roman Columns, the remains of semi-finished columns that were part of the cargo of an ancient Roman ship that sank right here in the 3rd century AD.
The Captain's stories will captivate you with anecdotes about Marzamemi and its tuna fishery, the history of the Roman Columns, and an explanation of the flora and fauna that inhabit this gorgeous seabed.
After the visit to the archaeological site of the Roman Columns, Gemini will take you to the beautiful rocky stretch of Bove Marino. Here, the crystal-clear blue water up to 3 meters deep allows you to dive in and admire the beautiful seabed, in the fascinating setting of the volcanic rocks that separate Spinazza Beach from San Lorenzo Beach.
The excursion with Gemini ends in the best possible way: with light refreshments on board, to be enjoyed while admiring the beautiful landscape of the characteristic village of Marzamemi.
