After pickup from your accommodation in Catania, visit the Neapolis archaeological park in Syracuse, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with an ancient Greek theatre. A paper guide is provided to help you explore the impressive ruins.

Next, stroll through the peninsula of Ortigia, starting at the ruins of the Temple of Apollo. Visit the white Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception and the Fountain of Arethusa, a notable freshwater spring.
