In the heart of underground Syracuse, the Catacomb of San Giovanni opens up like a labyrinth of galleries, arcosolia, and monumental rotundas, testifying to the expressive power of early Christianity in Sicily.
Once you pass the Basilica of San Giovanni, you'll enter the main gallery, where thousands of tombs follow one another. Among these, you'll find richly decorated tombs.
