Massimo di Tommaso was born in Syracuse in 1968. He approached art in early childhood, in fact his favorite game was to take paper and pencil to draw with accuracy and simplicity, those who were his most common subjects: animals.
Cats are part of Massimo's life since childhood. His current and constant source of artistic inspiration are several kitties.
After school Massimo attended the State Institute of Art in Syracuse, where he could perfect his technique and create a personal style. First he painted primarily in oil on canvas, but then he experimented with other techniques. His colours are bright and vivid.
And one particular theme recurs in his works:animals, especially dogs and cats.
