Cribs by Angela Tripi

When I saw the cribs, angels, Mary & Joseph and the animal figurines of Angela Tripi, I thought they were real, I got goose bumps.

Mrs. Tripi creates artistic model figurines and cribs in terracotta and fabric, characters with such expressive faces, that one really thinks they are alive. Her talent is incredible, these unique piedes are made with fantastic artistic sense and craftmanship.

They give people a fascinating insight into the world of ancient customs. Her cribs have travelled (and are still travelling) around the world, from New York to Paris to Japan, as messengers of art and traditions.
Angela Tripi's inspiration is rooted in the tradition of the Arab world, suitably reworked by her, coming to a personal interpretation full of details and nuances that evoke moods and memories lost in time.
